my diploma -finished- by fre-sa my diploma -finished- by fre-sa
The main point of my work was to include recycling in art. I refreshed and completly restyled old chair.
I was mainly inspired by european XIX/XX century art (Alphonse Mucha, Victor Horta, Arthur Heygate Mackmurdo, Charles Rene McKintosh etc).
It might be difficult to notice but all details are inlayed - not painted.

And yeah, the drawer is real.XD There is another one on the left side of the chair.

I muszę zapytać: Siedzisz na nim przed kompem? XP

I would pay more than 320$ canadian dollars for this chair personally haha, and I bet some real collectors would tell you that they'd pay A LOT more than that.

:D A dyplom z "reklamy wizualnej".

U nas w plastyku były specjalizacje snycerstwo, foto, dekoratorstwo wnętrz, metaloplastyka, ceramika, reklama wizualna.. plus przedmioty obowiązkowe (rzeźba, rim, historia sztuki, grafika, podstawy foto i filmu, podstawy projektowania, zajecia z programami graficznymi).

W Krakowie. Z przedmiotów zawodowych kompozycja płaska i przestrzenna, a dodatkowo dla wszystkich obowiązkowo rysunek, malarstwo, rzeźba, historia sztuki, podstawy fotografii, rysunek techniczny i liternictwo.
Dlatego teraz w zasadzie tylko maluję :)
A do tego skończyłam studia z historii sztuki, żeby oprócz praktyki mieć też teorię :)

Beautiful piece, is all the material you used recyceled material. I really like the amount of detail in the back and seat design and the idea of a functioning drawer either side of the seat is excellent.

Awesome! VERY Art Nouveau like!
I love the depth you created on the back of the chair with the ovelaping.
It's interesting... it's like a modern take on Art Nouveau. Real interesting choice not to use the abstract like cabriole legs that they used.
